Social and economic sustainability
Description
Ecosystemics focus its interest on processes of social inclusion, process and product innovation and support for the local economy, as characterizing forms of socio-economic sustainability.
The cross-border cooperation programs aim at sharing policies and strategies to support activities characterizing the local economy as well as supporting processes that aim at a better social inclusion of the weakest groups, made even more sensitive by the complex economic dynamics today. Participation in various projects of the Maritime Italy France program has involved Ecosystemics researchers in projects aimed at supporting artistic craftsmanship as an economic area characterizing the cross-border territory, with the organization of events and workshops and experiences of approaching and integrating new professionals of communication to traditional productive activities. Art Lab Net, Art Lab Experiences, Art Lab Services are related projects that aim to create a structural and continuous support to this field of craftsmanship. The SOFIA project instead focused on the analysis of tourist use by people with various types of disadvantages (visual, acoustic, motor) in order to identify targeted and inclusive reception strategies.
